Didem Ermis

In 2016, she completed her undergraduate education at Yeditepe University’s Department of Arts Management and in 2020 she completed her master’s degree at Istanbul Bilgi University’s Department of Cultural Management. During this period, she worked as a project coordinator in various projects as well as organizations where she worked as a volunteer. In addition to these, she writes exhibition reviews for online and print publications and conducts interviews with professionals in the field of culture and arts. Academically, she participated as a speaker at the Graduate Students Art and Design Symposium organized by Istanbul Aydın University and the Young Researchers Conference organized by the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Policy and Cultural Diplomacy at Istanbul Bilgi University. In August 2024, she published a paper titled “Expanding Feminist Conceptions of Art in a Posthumanist Age: Art and Care” was published in the journal Feminist Tahayyül. Her curatorial work includes her curatorial assistant experience in the exhibition Witness of the Flow and When Trees Speak at Cendere Art Museum. Since 2019, she has been working as a Research Assistant at Istanbul Aydın University, Department of Art and Cultural Management. She is also pursuing her PhD in Art History at Istanbul Technical University.
