He was born in Istanbul in 1990. He completed his undergraduate education at Istanbul Aydin University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. He graduated from Istanbul Aydin University, Visual Arts Master’s Program with a thesis titled “Interaction of Video Art with Visual Disciplines”. He then completed the Istanbul University, Radio, Television and Cinema Doctorate Program with his research titled “Transformation of Cinema and Audience in the Context of Technological Developments”.

He continues to work as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, conducting academic and artistic studies in the fields of cinema, photography and video art.
